We have enjoyed our stay at Trip Inn Hotel & Suites Essen. This is 10 minutes walking from Essen Central Station. Reception staff is AMAZING, thank you again to Bidhya (Dahal), Suman, Ter and Khadlca, they were so customer oriented and step in whenever we needed. They are doing a great job. We will definitely choose Trip Inn in Essen, whenever we will come back in the area. The room was nice and clean, beds were comfortable, the bathrooms also spacious, we felt like home. Moreover, if you book accommodation at Trip Inn in Essen you can visit Zollverein UNESCO heritage site, Grugapark, Vila Huegel, Folkwang Museum. Also, Essen offers great connections to other cities. For example 1 hour by train from Essen to Cologne (here we have visited Cologne Cathedral, Cologne Triangle (best city views), Rautenstrauch-Joest Museum (impressive exhibitions from countries from all over the world).Another example, 20 minutes by train from Essen to Duesseldorf, here we have visited Clasic Remise (old and new cars, you can even buy one :), Schloss Benrath (this castle is surrounded by a huge garden or better to say park because this is so big), Kunstsammlung (Art Museum where the permanent exhibition was closed due to renovation, however we had the chance to visit another 2 temporary exhibitions in the other building). And another city we have visited , 20 minutes by train from Essen is Dortmund: here we have visited Football Museum (I'm not a football fan, however this museum is so interactive and it is worth visiting it), Brewery Museum , Phoenix des Lumieres (digital arts, that was amazing). See you soon Trip Inn Team! :)

Large and (possibly recently) renovated room. There was a large double bed and also a sofa bed. I like the TV, which had installed apps (ARD and ZDF mediathek) that actually work. The TV was also rotatable, so you can either watch the TV in bed or in the sofa bed. The room was also equipped with coffee machines, coffee capsules, and bottled water, where were very convenient when we returned late from the Christmas market. I also like the large bathroom. Location is also good. The hotel is close the train station, about 10 minutes of walk.

The rooms were extremely spacious and clean. Good, albeit somewhat soft, bedding and a little seating area. Mut have been fairly recently renovated by the looks of it. Parking is easy around the hotel (just before going under the train tracks there's ample space, and otherwise you'll be okay near the entrance of the underground. Only stayed for 1 night but perfectly fine. Breakfast was not amazing, but fairly tasty and more than enough to start the day.

A superb hotel. The rooms are clean, very modern and spacious. The beds are probably the comfiest I've ever slept on! The breakfast provided was good and had so much choice. Staff were professional and friendly throughout. And the hotel is very well connected to Essen Hbf, either one tram stop or a 10 minute walk away. Very good value and would definitely book again if I'm in Essen.

This was a fabulous stay. I agree with other reviews that the WiFi could be spotty at times, as I stayed on the 4th floor; however; it was a great stay and did not cause issues. The breakfast was worth it, and it is a quick 10-12 minute walk from Essen Hbf. Ter was a great and was able to accommodate me quickly and efficiently. Would gladly stay again!
